Like many others I am also getting a lot out of the 100 Day Challenge. ... (The Challenge) has already been a great help to me in terms of making me portion out time for different writing projects... The 100 Day Challenge shouldn't just be a one-shot operation, which is why I have been keeping a documentation of every stage of it (so far). That way I will have the ready means to work through all or part of it again and again as needs arise... Thanks for all the help you have provided so far, and I look forward to a brighter future as a writer because of it.

I haven't taken part in anything like it before, and I find that it is an amazing way to stay focused and on track with various tasks. I have found one of the recent activities - journalling difficulties (and finding the answers first thing in the morning), a particularly useful way to 'talk through' an issue, and arrive at a solution effortlessly. The habit of 'self talk' has even helped me to get on with the business of writing - regularly.

...so thanks again for giving me the motivation needed, and the knowledge about how to think of goals - i.e. by chunking them down into smaller tasks and sub tasks and constantly revising them etc. The 100 day challenge is invaluable.

I went into the 100-day challenge thinking it would be all about the writing, and it is...but it's also not. Each week you challenge us to grow as writers, but also as individuals.

This challenge is so much more than simply setting a word count target or a fuzzy goal and go for it. Challenged to create a plan. Challenged to identify my strengths and weaknesses. Challenged to journal and write down how I feel about the writing as well as record what I write. Challenged to have and to build confidence in the writing and in myself as a writer. I love that at the same time, after putting it to us via the weekly email, you lay back and give us space and time to work through the stuff ourselves. No daily email loops or forums for a lot of chatter that gets in the way of actually getting things done.

We're only a third of the way into the challenge, but I've already added nearly 15k words to my wip. I jumped on an opportunity to write articles for a regional magazine and have submitted my first article. I'm researching and hunting down back issues of publications I want to query. I'm thinking about the purpose of writing opportunities relative to my goals rather than pursuing them on a whim.
